ROWAN ATKINSON IS THE NEXT GENERATION OF CHARLIE CHAPLIN

who is Charlie Chaplin?
have you heard this name before?
I bet some will say 'yes' and some will say 'no'

Let me tell you who is Charlie Chaplin exactly
but for sure he is not my boyfriend ^_^

CHARLIE CHAPLIN

Sir Charles Spencer "Charlie" Chaplin, (16 April 1889 – 25 December 1977) was an English comic actor, film director and composer best known for his work during the silent film era. He became the most famous film star in the world before the end of World War I. Chaplin used mime, slapstick and other visual comedy routines, and continued well into the era of the talkies, though his films decreased in frequency from the end of the 1920s.

Before the end of World War I, he is the famous comedian ever and considered to be one of the most pivotal stars of the early days of Hollywood. Charlie Chaplin was considered one of the greatest filmmakers in the history of American cinema, whose movies were and still are popular throughout the world, and have even gained notoriety as time progresses. His films show, through the Little Tramp's positive outlook on life in a world full of chaos, that the human spirit has and always will remain the same.

Chaplin died of natural causes on December 25, 1977 at his home in Switzerland. In 1978, Chaplin's corpse was stolen from its grave and was not recovered for three months; he was re-buried in a vault surrounded by cement.

but who is ROWAN ATKINSON?
yeahh I bet most of you know he is....

have you watch MR BEAN?
The actor who play the character of fool and dumb Mr Bean is
ROWAN ATKINSON

The title character, played by Rowan Atkinson, is a childish and selfish buffoon who brings various unusual schemes and contrivances to everyday tasks. He lives alone in his small flat in Highbury, and is almost always seen in his trademark tweed jacket and a skinny red tie. Mr. Bean rarely speaks, and when he does, it is generally only a few mumbled words which are in a comically low-pitched voice.

Have you sen this teddy around you before?

Let me introduce you this teddy to you

Teddy is Mr. Bean's teddy bear and perhaps Mr. Bean's best friend. The bear is a dark brown, knitted oddity with button eyes and sausage-shaped limbs, invariably ending up broken in half or in various other states of destruction and disfiguration. Although Teddy is inanimate, Mr. Bean often pretends it is alive.

ok back to our topic

Rowan Atkinson is the next generation of Charlie Chaplin by being known as a comedian just like Charlie Chaplin.

Rowan Sebastian Atkinson (born 6 January 1955) is an English actor, comedian and screenwriter. He is well known for his work on the satirical sketch comedy show Not the Nine O'Clock News, and the sitcoms Blackadder, Mr. Bean and The Thin Blue Line. He has been listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest actors in British comedy and amongst the top 50 comedians ever in a 2005 poll of fellow comedians.

He also have a capability to make a stand up comedy and most of his jokes are so hilarious and can be accepted by people.  Just looking at his face, automatically most people burst out their laugh even they cannot hold their laugh especially during his stand up comedy in live.

these are the stages of Rowan Atkinson how he become now :)

Rowan Atkinson - Baby Bean

Little Rowan was born in Consett, England to Anglican farmers Ella May and Eric Atkinson, who had two older sons Rupert and Rodney. He attended the same prep school as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair (who was two years ahead of Rowan) and went on to study electrical engineering at Newcastle University. With his future looking rather un-funny, Rowan continued his studies at Oxford University, where he earned a masters degree. It was while he was at Oxford that Rowan planted the seeds that would eventually grow the Bean we all know and love.

Rowan Atkinson - Bean Sprouts

While studying at Oxford, Rowan joined the Oxford University Dramatic Society and the Experimental Theatre Club, where he caught the comedy bug in a big way. Rather than pursue a career in his chosen field after graduation, Rowan began to tour in a comedy duo with his friend Angus Deayton. Their act was eventually filmed for TV, and soon the two were famous in their home country. He was offered his own TV show, but turned it down in order to do the sketch show, Not the Nine O'Clock News. That show eventually led to the hugely popular comedy Blackadder - a comedy set in the middle ages. Rowan Atkinson was now a huge celebrity in the UK, but his next role would make him a worldwide star.

Rowan Atkinson - When You're This Funny They Call You Mister

Rowan appeared in a half-hour TV special called Mr. Bean in 1988. The show caught on at home in the UK and abroad, and led to several more TV specials and a big screen film titled Bean, which debuted in 1997. Rowan went on to feature in plenty of other big screen hits including Four Weddings and a Funeral with Hugh Grant, and the James Bond parody Johnny English, but the call of the Bean was hard to ignore: Rowan will star in Mr. Bean's Holiday, due out August 24, 2007!

Rowan Atkinson - Fun Facts

  • Rowan Atkinson was a guest at Prince Charles's 2005 wedding to Camilla Parker-Bowles.
  • Rowan and his wife Sunetra Sastry have two children - Lily and Benjamin. Lily makes an appearance in Mr. Bean's Holiday.
  • Rowan was the voice of Zazu in The Lion King.
  • Bean gets his head stuck inside a raw turkey in a Mr. Bean Christmas special. The gag was spoofed on an episode of Friends.
  • Rowan Atkinson appeared in Scooby Doo.

For me there are no one will replace Rowan Atkinson/Mr Bean after this even Rowan Atkinson successful to replace Charlie Chaplin but in his own identity and style to make people laugh through his jokes and comedy
